GUE CCR Fundamentals Course
The GUE CCR Fundamentals course is designed to help divers transition smoothly from open-circuit to closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) diving. This course provides a structured and supportive environment where divers can develop essential skills in rebreather management, maintenance, and operational protocols. Emphasizing safety and confidence, it challenges students to master the key aspects of rebreather diving while ensuring a solid foundation for future technical diving.
The GUE CCR Fundamentals course is a prerequisite for advanced GUE CCR training and prepares divers to explore the unique benefits of closed-circuit diving, including extended bottom times and reduced gas consumption.
Course Overview
The GUE CCR Fundamentals course is an intensive five-day program that combines classroom lectures, land drills, and in-water training. Through a minimum of six dive sessions and at least eight hours of dive time, you will develop the skills and confidence to safely operate a closed-circuit rebreather in recreational diving environments.
What You Will Learn
- Rebreather Preparation and Function: Learn the setup, maintenance, and operational protocols for a GUE-configured CCR.
